INSURANCE COVERAGE
I have partnered with The Lactation Network (TLN) to bill your insurance. Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO, Anthem PPO, Humana PPO, Cigna PPO Insurance Plans and most plans that utilize MultiPlan and PNOA are most likely to be covered with TLN. Please click the button below and fill out a brief form to see if you have coverage. If you have coverage, you will have 6+ visits for free! TLN will handle all billing and paperwork.
If you are NOT covered, we have some options:
Most Insurance Plans are required to reimburse you for out of pocket lactation support per the Affordable Care Act. If you do not have upfront coverage, you pay out of pocket and Nourishing Tiny Humans, LLC will provide you with the documentation you need to submit directly to your insurance company for reimbursement.
If you are uninsured, under-insured, or insurance will not reimburse you at all, I charge on a sliding scale (see below). If you are a Medicaid, WIC, or SNAP client, you automatically qualify for a sliding scale or free service. Cost should NOT be a barrier to care, and I'm here to work with you.

SLIDING SCALE RATES
For those not covered by insurance, I charge a "pay-what-you-can" sliding scale with pricing ranging from $0-$250 / session (see services for specific rates for different types of sessions). Folks paying on the higher end of the scale help make it possible for me to offer reduced-cost sessions for those with financial barriers. I firmly believe everyone should have access to care regardless of income, so please don't hesitate to reach out. I trust that everyone will look at their situation and budget and identify what works for their family.
Please pay the full amount if most of the following statements apply to your family:
My family is able to meet our basic needs comfortably (food, housing, transportation)
My family has a health insurance plan offered through my or my partner's employment or regular access to health care
I am employed or do not need to work full-time
I own or lease a car
I have financial savings
My family owns our home or we rent a higher-end property
I can afford to take an annual vacation or take time off
I am debt free
GIFT CARDS
Have someone in your life who is expecting a baby? Give the gift of lactation support! Your gift card could allow your loved one to use your gift towards any of the following:
A prenatal consult to provide basic lactation education and discuss circumstances or concerns specific to their family
An early postpartum lactation home visit or virtual visit to troubleshoot any issues
An opportunity to discuss an upcoming separation from baby and how to manage lactation and feeding in the meantime
Support from a board certified lactation professional at any point in their nursing journey!
